Boys & Girls Clubs of America is proud to partner with Planet Fitness. Starting in 2016, Planet Fitness launched its first ever, signature cause initiative, The Judgement Free Generation as part of a unique three-way partnership with our BGCA and STOMP Out Bullying, the leading national anti-bullying organization.

The Judgement Free Generation is designed to combat the judgement and bullying faced by today’s teens by creating a culture of kindness and encouragement. With one in five teens reporting that they have been bullied, and parents citing bullying as their number one concern, Planet Fitness felt that BGCA would be a perfect partner to make a direct impact on teens across the country. Planet Fitness has committed $1.3 million in grants and donations to BGCA and STOMP Out Bullying to fund bullying prevention programs and activities.

Together with STOMP Out Bullying, Planet Fitness is bringing proven anti-bullying curriculum to the afterschool setting at select Boys & Girls Clubs. Planet Fitness is also funding teen-led projects that promote a judgement free culture at Boys & Girls Clubs across the country and staff training on bullying prevention. Further, Planet Fitness is engaging their franchisees and employees in volunteer activities at local Clubs within their communities.

Founded in 1992 in Dover, N.H., Planet Fitness (NYSE: PLNT) is one of the largest and fastest-growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers in the United States by number of members and locations. With more than 1,000 locations in 47 states and the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Canada, and the Dominican Republic, Planet Fitness’ mission is to enhance people’s lives by providing a high-quality fitness experience in a welcoming, non-intimidating environment, which they call the Judgement Free Zone®.
