In July 2012, Sony Electronics Inc. and Boys & Girls Clubs of America entered into a two-year partnership to support ImageMakers and the PhotoTech competition of the Digital Arts Festival. Through this dynamic partnership, more than 200 local Clubs will receive financial support and product grants to teach young people about artistry, technology and the synergy between the two.

Since Sony Electronics first came to North America in 1960, it has actively supported charitable causes in communities around the United States. Boys & Girls Clubs of America is proud to have Sony Electronics as a partner in technology-assisted creativity and career exploration. The skills learned through the ImageMakers and PhotoTech programs will make youth more expressive as well as more competitive for both career and educational endeavors. By partnering with the industry’s most cutting edge electronics company, Boys & Girls Clubs will be able to put the most desirable equipment and curriculum in the hands of the youth that need it most.
