BGCA presented The PGA CEO Joe Steranka with the Champion of Youth Award during their Chairman’s reception fundraiser Tuesday, Sept. 25, in Lombard, Ilinois. Steranka (left), who is also a Boys & Girls Club alum, was recognized for his leadership, service and guidance to improve the quality of life for young people. During his 24-year tenure with the PGA, Steranka has lead a number of the golf industry’s initiatives, including a long-term strategic alliance which named BGCA the "Official Youth Development Partner" of The PGA of America and the United States Golf Association. The alliance will impact the lives of youth through the introduction of the game of golf.
