49er Michael Crabtree Gives Back
End zone dance represents a donation to Boys & Girls Clubs!
Michael Crabtree and his End Zone Dance

December 11, 2012 -- San Francisco 49er and Boys & Girls Club alumnus Michael Crabtree taught teens from Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco his signature end zone dance as part of a special event for Ubisoft’s new video game “The Hip-Hop Dance Experience.”  Every time Crabtree scores a touchdown and does the end zone dance, which served as an inspiration for some of the moves in the video game, Boys & Girls Clubs will receive a donation of $1,000.

The teens played the video game against the NFL star and learned all about the technology and education that goes into creating a video game from Ubisoft staff. The Club received a new Nintendo Wii from Ubisoft, and each teen received an autograph copy of the game to take home.

Thanks for giving back, Michael!

In its 2012 Philanthropy 400 report, The Chronicle of Philanthropy placed Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the No. 1 position among youth organizations for the 19th consecutive year.
