Disney Goes Back-to-School with Boys & Girls Clubs of America
Disney Shows Its Support for Back-to-School

Disney has a long history with Boys & Girls Clubs of America that spans more than 50 years. Through financial and in-kind contributions, and through the time and talent of its Disney VoluntEARS, the Company supports the Boys & Girls Club mission of helping young people reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

This back-to-school season Disney, Radio Disney, and Disney Store all initiated activities to show their continued support for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Throughout August and September, Radio Disney stations across the country will hold local events inviting kids and families to donate school supplies to support their local Boys & Girls Clubs.  Part of Radio Disney's Project Family initiative that inspires families to take action and make a difference, the nationwide events will support Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s efforts to prepare the nearly two million Club members with the tools necessary to be successful and build a brighter future.

In addition to the local events, kids and families can also participate by: playing Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Virtual Supply Drive Game through which Disney will donate a supply kit each time the game is played; making a school supply donation at their local Disney Store; or by joining with Disney Friends for Change to host their own supply drive in their local community.

Radio Disney’s Project Family Back-to-School supply drive is in collaboration with Disney Friends for Change, an initiative that inspires kids and their families to make a lasting, positive change by helping people, communities and the planet.
