Own an incredible piece of Hollywood memorabilia and benefit a great cause at the same time! A stunning photograph of Academy Award Winner® Octavia Spencer taken by world-renowned photographer Douglas Kirkland was donated by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences to Boys & Girls Clubs of America at the direction of Academy Award Winner® Octavia Spencer.

The Academy created a custom large-format photography exhibition celebrating all of the nominated performers in the Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Best Supporting Actor categories.  The exhibition, titled "OUT OF CHARACTER" hung in the Academy's Grand Lobby Gallery in its Beverly Hills headquarters building prior to the Academy Award Ceremony.  

A limited edition of three signed prints of each nominee portrait was created.  One print has been used in the exhibition, and will later be donated to the permanent collection of the Academy Library, home to the greatest collection of motion picture photography in the world.  The second print was given to the nominee themselves.  The third print was directed to be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of America by Ms. Spencer with hopes of generating support for the cause.
