Party City

As part of its annual Halloween celebration, Party City delighted Boys & Girls Club members with a Halloween Fair at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, Calif., on Saturday, Oct. 23. Some 200 kids and teens from San Francisco Boys & Girls Clubs enjoyed costumes, roller coaster rides. trick-or-treating and photos with Luney Toon characters -- all courtesy of the country's premier Halloween specialty retailer.

Treats, No Tricks
In keeping with the spirit of the event, Party City gave treats to Boys & Girls Clubs of America as well. Representing the paper goods retailer, actor Mario Lopez presented BGCA with a check for nearly $500,000! A result of an annual donation drive, the funds will help BGCA deliver programs that support academic achievement, character and leadership, and healthy choices.

"Children are at the heart of Halloween, and Party City is committed to helping kids celebrate this spooktacular holiday in a magical way," says Lisa Laube, president of Party City. "By partnering with Boys & Girls Clubs of America and raising nearly a half-a-million dollars, Party City helps ensure that the national organization continues its worthwhile mission in communities nationwide."  Party City
