Beaumont Foundation of America The Beaumont Foundation of America believes new technologies are the essential tools for progress in the 21st century, and that given access to digital information, people will have a more equal opportunity to advance socially, economically and intellectually. The Foundation is committed to the principle of digital inclusion, meaningful participation and information literacy with the mission of providing access to information for everyone, everywhere, anytime.
To ensure successful use of technology, the Foundation collaborates with successful organizations from the smallest community-based organization to the largest national philanthropies. Their grants provide the technology necessary to make this vision a reality for all. It is their goal to fund underserved schools, organizations and individuals committed to the principle of digital equity.
The Beaumont Foundation of America supports comprehensive national efforts to bridge the digital divide. To fulfill the Foundation's mission and to enhance the benefits of our philanthropy, the Foundation continues to establish strategic alliances with reputable organizations, like Boys & Girls Clubs of America, that have a history of addressing society's needs.
The Foundation has provided Boys & Girls Clubs with $8 million in the form of computers, printers, network equipment and cameras for technology centers in 325 Clubs around the country.
They also committed an additional $8 million, bringing the total to $16 million. This
commitment has brought technology to youth from underprivileged circumstances in 641 neighborhoods around the country.
