We get it – teens need a space to call their own. That’s why Aaron’s, Inc. and Boys & Girls Clubs of America are partnering to create vibrant, welcoming teen centers where America’s youth can build the confidence and leadership skills to make a change in their communities.

Providing critical support through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide are working to provide food, digital programming and support to youth and families, and access to services for families of first responders, the U.S. Military, National Guard, Military Reserves, healthcare workers and other essential industries. Aaron’s, Inc. has generously partnered with BGCA to help ensure local Clubs can continue this critical response work and prepare more Clubs to do the same in their communities.

The outstanding commitment of Aaron's to Boys & Girls Clubs of America has contributed to significant growth in teen membership at Clubs across the nation. Additionally, Aaron’s partnership has provided thousands of youth access to Keystone Club, a premier teen leadership experience.

Keystone Club

Aaron’s is unwavering in its support of Keystone Clubs where teens ages 14 to 18 participate in activities focused on academic success, career preparation and community service. In the first three years of Aaron’s partnership, more than 400 Keystone Clubs were added giving an additional 13,000 teens the opportunity to find their voice and use it to better their communities. Each year, Keystone Clubs select a timely topic to focus their attention and enact meaningful change. National Projects have included conversations with law enforcement, ways to create inclusive communities and emotional wellness.

Keystone National Conference

Each year, 1,500 Keystone Club teens and advisors convene for the Keystone National Conference presented by Aaron’s. Boys & Girls Clubs teens come together to discuss relevant issues, strengthen their leadership skills and explore college and career choices.

At the 2019 National Keystone Conference, Aaron’s surprised Serenity G. from Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orlando with a $15,000 donation to support her mission to distribute food, toiletries and basic essentials to homeless individuals in her community.

Teen Center Refresh

Aaron’s long tradition of giving back to communities they serve extends to its partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Aaron’s employees have updated furniture and technology at teen centers in 42 cities and counting. Before the work begins, teens lead the design process and select a wish list of items for their new space. Teen center refreshes have contributed to a new culture for Club teens, giving them an inviting space separate from younger kids. Clubs to receive a teen center refresh report increases in teen membership.

“I told my family and staff that I never could have imagined that joining Keystone would have this life altering effect on me. I never thought I could lead a group, take pride in my work or even change my perspective on how great life can actually be.”
