McDonald’s supports a Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s college readiness program for teens.

Stomp the Yard

McDonald’s supports the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s (BGCA) overall mission with a focus on diplomas2Degrees (d2D) - a college readiness program for teens. The d2D program guides Club members as they work toward high school graduation and prepare for post-secondary education and career success. In partnership with McDonald’s, BGCA was able to bring a “Stomp the Yard” experience to our teen members at two Clubs in the Southwest and Midwest regions. During this event, Club teens were given a chance to experience what it’s like to be on campus at a Historical Black College/University (HBCU). Activities included an HBCU college fair and alumni panel, performances, and a live DJ.

The goal is to intrigue students by giving them the chance to  experience what it’s like to be on campus at an HBCU

HBCU FAIR
