But when girls have access to leadership programming and mentorship, they develop the critical life skills and courage they need to: Lead like a girl. Advocate like a girl. Have confidence as a girl.
To celebrate International Day of the Girl, the Dove Self-Esteem Project will match all donations made to Boys & Girls Clubs of America through October 11, 2023, up to $10,000, to help more girls develop the confidence, courage and critical life skills necessary to make bold moves and build great futures.
The majority of girls rate their ability to cope with challenges as medium to very low.
Skills like conflict resolution and teamwork help elevate girls to positions of leadership.
20% of girls report being electronically bullied during the past year, and nearly half did not tell an adult.
